DOUGIE LIVINGSTON

SERIES PRINCIPAL Growing up in Northern Indiana, Dougie Livingston was surrounded by weekend racing on many dirt ovals but knew from an early age that sports cars were the source of his four wheeled passion.  At 14, Dougie bought his first car from his neighbors.  It required moving the garage that had fallen in on it, and it had more boxes of parts than wheels, but  he knew where his life’s passion was. After college Dougie found himself back in Monticello working in the local General Motors dealership, and from there he explored all of the areas within dealership life. Knowing he hadn’t quite found his niche, and with an opportunity to work in Indianapolis, Dougie made the commute every day to Indianapolis to work in racing. By 2001 Dougie had again become very involved in club level efforts and later that year he started offering open lapping events. With a slow but methodical start, by 2004 ProSport Drivers Group had grown to become one of the Midwest’s most well known and well attended lapping groups.  In 2005 with more cars needing work at the track and in prep, International Autosport Racing Group was formed.  IARG was busy building cars and continually helped others find their passion for driving. These experiences led Dougie to work for numerous professional racing teams in many different capacities in both Grand Am and Speed World Challenge.  Dougie was involved in the creation of the 2007 TRG multi-car Koni Challenge GS team fielding 4 Porsche 997s, and from there was also involved in TRG with its GT efforts. With Dougie’s son MacAlister (Max) growing up fast, Dougie has made a new focus on both passions, Max and racing.  So, in mid 2010 with encouragement from some great friends and fellow racers, Dougie started working tirelessly on creating this new platform for up and coming racers who want more from their racing efforts.
