TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Dan continued to follow his passion finding multiple successes with some very notable teams in the nineties. Working with Brix Motorsports in road racing to finding himself at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Beck Motorsports, Dan followed the path of open wheel racing in Indianapolis and worked tirelessly at Players/Forsythe Racing on the Formula Atlantic program. As the crew chief on Alex Tagliani’s car and Lee Bentham’s car, Dan found his team winning the Formula Atlantic Championship.
In 1999, Players ended the Formula Atlantic program to focus on a championship in the CART program. Dan continued on with the Players/Forsythe CART team through 2001 as a shock technician and in 2002, Dan decided to focus on shocks/dampers and took a position as an Ohlins Shock Technician at Motorsports Spares Inc. While there Dan primarily serviced Sports Car customers which involved traveling to ALMS and Grand AM events along with extensive testing schedules on and off the track.
With that road racing passion Dan moved back into the ranks of some of the most prolific teams in road racing. After working with Dave Klem of FABCAR Dan found Porsche as a recurring theme and went to work with Tafel Racing of Cumming GA as Assistant Team Manager to the well experienced Tony Dowe. After a long and successful run with Tafel, Dan made a change and once again found himself in Indianapolis working at SPA Technique as Operations Manager, where he still works today.
