BGB MOTORSPORTS
BGB Motorsports will make its first appearance in the Intercontinental Trophy Cup Racing Series in 2012, with drivers from various racing disciplines. Based in Ormond Beach, Fla., BGB Motorsports has been a longtime supporter of Porsches, running both Caymans and 911s in the GRAND-AM Sports Car Challenge and Porsche Club of America since 2004. The team nearly won the 2008 GRAND-AM Sports Car Challenge, and has consistently fought for victories and podium finishes at tracks nationwide.
Without any financial or technical support from the factory, BGB Motorsports operates as a customer-oriented business building, developing and supporting cars for its clients. In 2012, BGB expects to join ITC with a multi-car outfit. Team principal John Tecce was one of the first to embrace the new ITC GTP class concept, and will bring his team into the ITC fold racing Caymans in both the GTP and P1 classes.
